These Terms of Service are an agreement between you and Nele for using the Nele app and website. Please read them carefully. By creating an account or using Nele you agree to these terms.
1. What Nele is
Nele is a marketplace where people buy and sell items with each other. Nele is not the buyer or the seller and does not own, inspect or deliver the items listed. Each sale is an agreement between the buyer and the seller.
2. Your account
- You must be at least 13 years old, and old enough under the law where you live to make a binding agreement, or use Nele with a parent's permission.
- Give accurate information and keep your phone number and password secure. You are responsible for activity on your account.
- One person may not use another person's account. We may suspend accounts that break these terms.
3. Listing items
- List only items you own and are allowed to sell, with honest photos, descriptions, condition and prices.
- New listings from personal sellers are reviewed by our team before they appear, and we may reject or remove any listing.
- Shops agree to the seller fees shown in the app before they are approved. Fees are charged when an order is delivered.
4. Items that are not allowed
- Weapons, ammunition and explosives; drugs and drug equipment; alcohol and tobacco where prohibited.
- Stolen goods, counterfeits and items that break someone's copyright or trademark.
- Adult content, live animals, human remains, medicines that need a prescription, and anything else that is illegal in Iraq or the Kurdistan Region.
- Digital accounts, gift cards and services that are not physical items, unless we allow them.
5. Behaviour and content
We have zero tolerance for objectionable content and abusive users. You may not post or send content that is illegal, hateful, threatening, harassing, sexual, violent or misleading, or spam other users. You can report any listing or account, and block any user. Our team reviews reports, removes content that breaks these terms and may suspend or remove the accounts responsible.
6. Buying and selling
- Prices, offers and delivery are agreed between the buyer and the seller. Orders are paid in cash on delivery unless both sides agree otherwise.
- Accepting an offer is a commitment to sell at that price. Please complete orders you agree to.
- Check the item when it arrives. Problems with an order can be reported in the app; see our Returns & Refunds policy.
7. Content you post
You keep ownership of the photos, videos and text you post. You give Nele permission to host, show, resize and share that content in the app, on the website and in Nele's marketing, for as long as it is on Nele. You confirm you have the right to post it.
8. Promotions and fees
Some features, such as promoting a listing or seller fees for shops, may have a price shown in the app before you use them. We may change prices for the future; changes do not affect what you already agreed to.
9. Ending your account
You can delete your account at any time in the app or at neleapp.com/delete-account. We may suspend or close accounts that break these terms or the law, or that put other users at risk.
10. Disclaimers and liability
Nele is provided "as is". We do not guarantee the quality, safety or legality of items, the truth of listings, or that users will complete a sale. To the extent the law allows, Nele is not liable for losses arising from deals between users or from use of the app.
11. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. If we make important changes, we will tell you in the app. If you keep using Nele after that, you accept the new terms.
